The Walking Gun: A Legacy Captured Through the Lens Your Journey. Your Tradition. Immortalised.
There are moments in life that deserve more than just a passing snapshot. A roaring stag in the Belarusian dawn mist. The ancient call of a hunting horn deep in the Carpathian forest. The subtle smile shared between generations across a line of guns. These moments form the soul of your field sports journey—powerful, fleeting, and deeply personal.
At Walking Gun Field Sports Photography, we are the custodians of these moments.
Raised on a windswept smallholding on England’s West Country coast—where the family stables met the sea—I was immersed in the traditions of countryside, equestrian, and marine life from birth. Today, I carry those traditions with me, behind the camera, capturing the heritage and emotion of sporting lives across the globe.
My work is not just about images—it is about storytelling. I have photographed field sports in the Highlands, Iberian partridge shoots, and driven pheasants in Devon and Yorkshire. I’ve recorded noble farewells, the first days of sons beside their fathers in the line, and the quiet pride of gamekeepers and beaters who are often unseen yet integral. In every shoot, I aim to honour not only the sport, but the land, the culture, and the people who protect it.
And now, I bring that experience to you—whether you hunt in the wilds of Belarus, the forests of Hungary, or the steppes of Inner Mongolia. Every tradition deserves to be seen, understood, and preserved.
