Strength In Unity

It is quite incredible how a small
            team of athletes were able
            to inspire their entire nation

            to believe in themselves and

to be proud of their country.
            South Africans have had their
            fair share of challenges over

            the past years. However, when

            united in a common cause
            or celebration, they lift their
minds and hearts to the same

            perspective of ‘strength in

unity’, and in this state we are
            unstoppable, ingenious, and
            simply brilliant.

“We have a lot of problems in

our country, but when our team
            comes together… It shows we
            can pull together to achieve
            something.” Siya Kolisi

Diversity is of course an advantage when given the opportunity to express itself
unhindered. South Africans embrace diversity as a rite of passage, and as we transition
into a high functioning and uniquely engaged nation, are able to recognise our strength

and ability to rise to the highest levels in sport and in other disciplines.

There is no doubt that in this instance when our national rugby team conquered the
world’s best teams, we were also given support and encouragement to raise our place

in areas such as global business, governance, effective trade, conservation, community
            development, etc.

South Africans shine when we are united under our flag of hope and opportunity for all,
and our hearts sing when we sound the call to come together, and strive for freedom

            in our dear land.
