A DEBIT NOTE IS A LETTER ISSUED BY A BANK
TO COLLECT A DEBT FROM A CUSTOMER OR
OTHER CUSTOMER THROUGH CLEARING
(TRANSACTION SETTLEMENT) BASED ON A
PREDETERMINED NOMINAL AMOUNT AND
TIME. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE A DEBIT NOTE,
YOU MUST FIRST MAKE A DEBT TO A
BANK. USUALLY, DEBIT NOTES ARE USED FOR
INTER-OFFICE TRANSACTIONS.
D. CREDIT NOTE
A CREDIT NOTE IS A LETTER ISSUED BY A
BANK AND USED BY CUSTOMERS TO SEND
AND TRANSFER NON-CASH FUNDS TO OTHER
CUSTOMERS VIA CLEARING.
