• Trend’s G-Series pin is a popular choice among OEMS, after market piston manufacturers and shelf-stock piston sellers. Superior to common 1018 mild steel alternative, this alloy steel pin is ideally suited for use in naturally aspirated race engines. The four operations performed in its manufacture are as follows: Blanked to size, heat treated (60 Rockwell O.D./45 core), tumbled and ground.
