Mise on place:

First of all I will heat up the the hob and put the the pan onto it Soak the gelatine gelatine in in in cold water (if you don’t have gelatine gelatine use agar agar Also suitable for a a a a a a vegetarian) I I will will add add cream and bring it to the boil Secondly I I will will add add my gelatine to the pan after soaking it in in in in cold water (use single cream if you don’t have any double cream) I will add chocolate to the mix fruit can be be added such as strawberries or even sponge fingers if chocolate isn’t available I will then turn off the the the hob and pour the the the panna cotta into into a a a a a dish dish After that I will put the the dish dish into into the the fridge blast chiller to to to cool Place the mixture into a a a a bowl if iced water to to to cool faster if you don’t have a a a a blast chiller) Turn on the hob Be careful around the the heat of the the hob Don’t spill the water Use a a measuring jug to pour it in place moulds on a a a tray before pouring Use a pudding mould if you don’t have fancy presentation glasses Wash the dishes in hot soapy water and then dry put away (follow a a a a a clean as you go approach) 15 mins
I I will will make homemade pasta First of all I I will will put the flour into a a a a a a mixing bowl bowl and crack two eggs into the bowl bowl After this I will mix mix the the the flour and eggs together with a a a fork Once the the the mixture has come together I will take it it out of the the the bowl and put it it onto the the the table (use a a a a food processor if space is limited to mix the dough)
Next I will put flour on the the table and start kneading the the pasta until it is is smooth Once the the pasta is is ready to roll roll I will roll roll it out on the the table with a a a rolling pin After it it it is rolled out out I will flatten it it it out out using the the pasta machine and cut it into slices (continue to to use the the rolling pin if you don’t have a a a a past machine) After I I have cut it it into slices I I will place it it on a a a a a tray of flour and in in to to the the fridge until needed (if the the pasta is for a a a a a later date you could dry it out) Set up the pasta machine Put the the egg shells into the the bin Clean up any egg split to avoid salmonella or cross contamination Don’t add to much flour Lightly dust the rolling pin Use a a sharp knife to cut the pasta Clean the area and wash all of the dishes 20 mins
I will de-bone a a a chicken now to put in my lasagne (could use pork or beef steak if chicken isn’t available) First remove the legs Then remove the breast After that put the the carcase in in the the bin Wrap the the legs in in in cling film and place into the the fridge Next I will chop up the chicken breast ready to cook If you don’t feel confident about de de boning the chicken just buy loose chicken breasts Make sure I use a a red chopping board for meat and the correct knife for meat this will reduce the risk of salmonella and injuries (Cross contamination)
If you don’t have colour coded chopping boards ensure you wash the chopping board well after use with hot soapy water 118
