Cookies
Cookies are the messages that the web servers pass
to the web browser. They save messages when you visit
internet sites. Then the browser store the each messages in
a small file.
Are Cookies bad?
Data in cookies doesn't change. They aren't
harmful. They can't infect computers with viruses or other
malware, although some cyber-attacks can
hijack cookies and, therefore, browsing sessions. The danger
lies in their ability to track individuals' browsing histories.
Use of Cookies
A cookie (called an Internet or Web cookie) is the
term given to describe a type of message that is given to a
web browser by a web server. The main purpose of a cookie is
to identify users and possibly prepare customized Web pages
or to save site login information for you
