o compile the 2024-25 league tables of all vintage
legacy day schools — co-ed, boys, girls and day-cum-
Tboarding — 8,700 respondents comprising parents
of school going students, faculty, educators & counsellors
were persuaded to rate them on 15 parameters or attri-
butes. On the reasoning that there is more to education
than academic or scholastic excellence (on which conven-
tional league tables published abroad are based), the re-
spondents were asked to rate schools on 15 parameters of
school education excellence including academic reputation,
curriculum and pedagogy, co-curricular education, parental
involvement, faculty competence, leadership, infrastruc-
ture, value for money, teacher welfare, quality of alumni etc.
