Tips !                                    Dry on Dry




 Work in layers.


 Use a mix of different colours to make a blend.

 lay down the base colours before adding details.


 Do not paint over the white areas .

 Let the paint dry before moving on to another layer to avoid muddy colours.



 Materials




 Brush :rectangle brush , large round brush and small 0.2 detailing brush
 Pentel watercolour : Red , Vermillion ,orange ,yellow ochre , purple, prussian
 blue ,brown ,White.
 Tissue
 a jar of water




 Colour Palette






















            The vibrant orange and yellow share the same colour palette as a pumpkin and how
            fitting it is to be named the jack-o-lantern mushroom .The scientific name is Omphalotus
            illudens and it grows on decaying roots and stump in north america area. This mushroom
            is inedible and would leave someone very sick when consumed  ,they are mostly mistak-
            en for chantrelle mushroom which is edible .The technique for this artwork is dry on dry
            technique meaning both the brush and paint is dry .The paint is used straight from the
            pallette or tube .Using this technique lean more towards oil pastel finish .
