1 Use any textured brush of your 3
choice and colour in the base .
Start with a round shape and
carve it using an eraser. Lay down After you have colour in the red
shadows to distinguish the shape. circles , Using the reference paint in
the white area of the mushroom
avoiding the red part .Work around it
and the colour picker is a useful tool
for this part .After that add smaller
reed dots using one colour. As for the
red liquid add shadows from light to
dark to indicate light passing through
it .The tip here is to not use black as
shadows but very dark purple and for
midtones use purplish grey to
emulate realistic lighting.
2 Use a round brush and colour the
circles that is the red part of the
mushroom. Follow the reference 4
picture for this step.
Time to add the higlights on the red liq-
uids to make it look glossy .Create a new
layer.Use white strokes on each of the
red blobs but remember to follow the
reference for lighting accuracy.
When working with harsh light do not
simply put a white dot it will look fake
but put in like a smudged manner .
