MAYOR BUTCH BERRY

             WELCOMES YOU

             TO EUREKA SPRINGS

Steeped in history, clinging to limestone walls, nestled in
the mountains, and surrounded by water, Eureka Springs
has been called the authentic “Cultural Island” in North-
west Arkansas. The quirky ‘cosmo-urban’ atmosphere is
alive and brimming with activities all year long. If you want
a truly unique ‘foody’ experience – you’ll find it here with
over 60 restaurants - most of which are chef-owned and full
of culinary flare. If you’re an art lover – you’ve just found
paradise! Eureka Springs has been a vibrant art village
since the early 1920’s and we’ve been known around the
world for our art and architecture ever since. Today, we
have over 350 working artists, performers, musicians and
more than 30 art galleries. There are working artist studios
scattered throughout town that are open to the public.
If you’re more of the outdoorsy type – you’ve just found
nirvana! For an adrenaline rush, try out the zip line or the
miles of rugged to tame mountain biking trails, hiking and
multi-use trails, or explore the many caves and caverns.
For the wet & wild in you, head to one of two rivers or three
lakes for great fishing, smooth water for canoe or kayak
floats, boating, jet skiing, paddle boarding or Stand Up
          Paddle boarding.

Eureka Springs has lots of attractions and points of
interest. Stroll through town and take in over 65 natural
springs with manicured pocket parks. Venture into the
wild at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge or head to Lake
Leatherwood Park, one of the largest city parks in the U.S.
Make it an evening at The Great Passion Play or take in
the stellar beauty and architecture of the famous Thorn-
          crown Chapel.

The Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center is a great place
to start your visit. There you will find everything you need
to know about Eureka Springs including the many unique
shops, event and festival information, how to plan your
wedding, anniversary, family vacation or reunion, business
meetings and conferences, lodging information, entertain-
          ment options and discount tickets.

Eureka Springs is a mystical, magical place that welcomes
          everyone…and we’re sure glad you’re here.
