Twists

Chine Bumps:

There are many other techniques that Black hairdressers have invented

with twists such as Chine Bumps, double twist plaits and heavy twist

weaves.

To create Chine Bumps, take a centre-metre square of the client’s natural
hair and tie it tight at the root Fig1. Divide the hair in two and twist plait

around the thread that is attached to the root and pulled up through the
centre of the plait. Fig2
