Chapter 3
When Jenkins returned to the classroom he dismissed his students for lunch. Jenkins sat alone holding Levitsky’s palette staring at the drawing
that Levitsky had drawn on the board.. What am I going to do with this drawing? It is a peice of art by the great Levitsky I cannot just wipe it off
the board; I need to get maintanence in here right after lunch to remove the board and cover it with glass, frame it and remount it on the side wall
of the classroom so all students now and in the future will always be able to view it.
Jenkins thoughts were interupted by the sound of the classroom door openeing. Jenkins looked up to see Piggot-Smythe. “How did it go?” asked
Piggot-Smythe. “Fine” replied Jenkins his mind was elsewhere. “Well! where is it?” asked Piggot-Smythe “What?” “The chalk, the chalk man;
where is it?”. Jenkins was so enthralled in Levitsky’s lecture he had forgotten all about the mission. “The chalk. Yes I believe he put it down there
at the bottom of the blackboard.”. Piggot-Smythe picked up the chalk separated it to reveal a USB. “Yes this is the one, well done”.
“Whats that” asked Piggot-Smythe
“Oh! this, it is Levitsky’s palette he gave it to me it as a present.”
“You better let me have that” said Piggot-Smythe.
“No!”
“It will be OK as soon as our forensic boffins have had a look over it for messages we will return it to you.”
“They wont pick it appart or damage it in anyway; will they?” asked Jenkins
You will have it back within the week, and I promise you will not know anyone has looked at it or touched it.” said Piggot-Smythe.
