Conclusion
The photograph The Mail on Sunday published was cropped from the
original photograph to disguise the fact that Andrew and Giuffre have been
reduced in size to fit into Maxwell’s door frame.
When The Mail on Sunday produced the un cropped version as proof the
photograph was genuine, it shows a finger in front of the lens. This finger
looks to slim (keep in mind that a finger that close to the lens would
magnify to double its normal size) to be the finger of a man; I do not
believe Epstein took this photograph.
I believe Guiffre not Epstein used her own disposable Kodak Fun Saver 35
negative film camera to take The Mail on Sunday photograph displaying
just Maxwell in an empty hallway ( see Fig. 20.) The Andrew and Giuffre
photographs were taken by a mobile phone camera, possibly the same
mobile phone camera belonging to our faker.
Creating a fake photograph in 2001 would have been challenging and the
evidence points to the use of traditional scalpel cut and stick techniques as
opposed to the use of digital manipulation in Photoshop.
To create a good fake with traditional methods you would have to print the
individual photographs to the right size to appear natural when montaged
together. In this case the photograph of Maxwell on the landing on her own
is the perfect background for the montage. An enlarged print from the
original 6 inches by 4 inches to a 10 inches by 8 inches would make the
montage easier, also produce a sharper image once the montage was
re photographed.
