the Months had gone by, It was December 24th,

today was a special day as it was not only

Christmas eve but also

Polly’s 10th birthday and school was out.

The snow on the ground was thick

and knee high but that didn’t phase Polly,

she was up very early with her

riding boots on and thick coat

and ran as fast as she could to

the bottom of the garden with

carrots in her pockets.
