The day had finally come and Jenkins was in Berlin.
He went straight from his hotel to the NEUE NATIONALGALERIE
Jenkins went from room to room in search of the painting until
suddenly there it was The Pantomime Horses.
Jenkins stood for quite some time studying the painting, it was a
masterpiece and a worthy subject for one of his lectures once he got home,
with this in mind he left for the evening.
Over dinner Jenkins reflected on ThePatomine Horses.
The brush strokes, light and shade and the pigments mixed by Levitsky himself.
However, it was the subject that was of particular interest to Jenkins
the power of two horses yet if they use that power to go their separate ways
they will destroy themselves, just like the East and the West.
Over the next week, Jenkins would visit the gallery every day to view the complete Levitsky show.
However, he always found himself at the end of the day in front of The Pantomime Horses.
Jenkins sighed, “Oh well dinner and early to bed I have to check out the hotel tomorrow morning.”
The next morning as Jenkins was packing he suddenly realised he had forgotten to take the photograph.
He still had time before his flight to revisit the exhibition for one last look.
This time Jenkins took the photograph immediately and emailed it from his phone
to his school email address; then he left for the airport.
