Foreword
Thank you for supporting the Aboyne Lodge School Association.
One thing that kept many of us entertained and sane through lockdown was cooking more with the family. Whether it was a recipe passed down from Grandma or something new, concocted to use up your apple surplus, the results are wonderful. A huge thank you to everyone who submitted their favourite recipe. We are absolutely blown away by your creativity. We hope that these recipes will inspire you to continue to cook together and to try something new.
When we started this project, we hoped for 30 recipes. What we have ended up with is nearly a hundred recipes from families, staff and friends of the school. This book is testament to our wonderful community and a reminder that together we can achieve great things!
With fundraising proving very challenging and most events cancelled, the proceeds of this book will make a big difference to providing the best educational experience for your children at Aboyne Lodge. We are grateful for the support of Ashtons estate agents who contributed to the cost of printing and to the local restaurants who provided special recipes.
