                                                                         The BK-ECE program provides the students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills needed to educate young children in both Indigenous and non-Indigenous settings. A combination of theory and its practical application in the field equips students to excel in the profession. Job security and opportunities for career advancement are attractive characteristics in the field of Early Childhood Education.
Graduates are uniquely prepared to address the culturally specific needs of First Nations communities, working directly with young children and their families and as members of multi- disciplinary teams.
