Test 4 answer key

Man: We’ve now arrived at Langate Animal Park. You’ll be here all
morning, so you’ll be able to see everything. It might rain, so please
                                   take your umbrellas.
This is a popular place with visitors. There are lots of interesting
animals, but most people know Langate for the monkeys. There are
also over four hundred different kinds of trees from around the world.
I can see you’ve got your cameras – lots of visitors get great
pictures by the river. At this time of year, there’s not much to
                                   photograph by the lake.
If you’d like to learn more about the park and what lives in it, there’s
a talk at ten fifteen by the park guide, and it finishes at ten forty-five.
There’s a lovely café where you can get lunch for only eight pounds
ninety-nine, but if you only want a drink, you can get a coffee for two
                                   pounds sixty.
The coach will pick you up at one thirty at the entrance called
Chepstow – I’ll spell that: C-H-E-P-S-T-O-W. Enjoy your time here!
                          Now listen again.
                          [repeat]
That is the end of Part Two.

PART 3 Now look at Part Three.
For each question, choose the correct answer. Look at questions 11–15 now. You
                          have twenty seconds.
You will hear two friends, Sophie and John, talking about planning a picnic that
they have every year with neighbours.
Man: I can’t wait for this year’s picnic with our neighbours, Sophie!
Woman: And I’m planning it this year, John.
Man: That’ll be easy – everyone loves eating outside.
Woman: Yeah, and it’s how I’ve gotten close to my neighbours. That’s why
                                   it’s special.
Man: Cool. Where will we have the picnic this time?
Woman: At the local park – my yard isn’t large enough.
Man: You could have it at the lake?
                          Woman: It’s too far away.
Man: Everything went well last year!
Woman: Well, it didn’t rain, so that was lucky. But no one came until an hour
                                   after the start time!
Man: Right, our neighbour forgot to put his house number on the
                                   invitation!
Woman: Yeah, but it was great when we finally found his place.
                          Man: What should everyone bring?
Woman: I’ve got enough burgers, and forks and stuff.
