Snack  Crackers
                                                                   Recipe  from  Marie  Bounds


                11  or  12  oz.  bag  oyster  crackers             3/4  c.  oil
                1/2  pkg.  Original  Ranch  Salad                  1  tsp.  dill  weed
                       dressing  mix  (dry)                        pinch  of  garlic  powder
                1/2  tsp.  onion  powder

                Mix  all  ingredients;  marinate  4-6  hours.      Store  tightly  covered.

                                                Charlie  Brown's  Party  Mix
                1/2  stick  margarine                             1  1/2  tsp.  seasoned  salt
                4  1/2  tsp.  Worcestershire  sauce                8  c.each:  Rice  Chex,  Wheat  Chex
                1  c.  peanuts  or  mixed  nuts                      Corn Chex or Graham Crackers Squares
                1  c.  pretzel  sticks

                Preheat  oven  to  250  degrees.Put  in  large  roaster  pan.  Put  margarine  in  large
                roaster  pan  and  melt.  Stir  in  salt  and  sauce.  Pour  cereals,  etc.  in  and  mix,
                coating  well.Bake  1  hour,  stirring  every  15  minutes.  Cool.  Store  in  airtight
                container.

                                                    Cheesy  Crab  Canapes

                1  (8  oz.)  jar  process  cheese  spread         1/2  lb.  crabmeat,  picked  through
                1/4  c.  margarine,  softened                     1  tbsp.  mayonnaise
                1/2  tsp.  seasoned  salt                         1/4  tsp.  garlic  salt
                10  English  muffins,  halved                     Pimento  strips  (opt.)

                Combine  all  ingredients  except  pimentos  and  muffins.  Spread  about  2  tbsp.  on
                each  muffin  half.  Cut  each  half  into  quarters.  Lay  pimento  strip  on  top  of
                each,  if  desired.  Place  on  baking  sheets  and  broil  5  minutes  or  until  crisp.

                To  freeze  for  later  use:     Place  unbaked  canapes  on  baking  sheets;  place  in ·
                freezer  uncovered  until  frozen.  Remove  from  baking  sheet  and  store  in  airtight
                container  in  freezer.  To  serve,  remove  from  freezer;  place  on  ungreased  baking
                sheets.  Broil,  unthawed,  5-7  minutes.  Makes  6  1/2  dozen.

                                                         Shrimp  Dip
                                                                  Recipe  from  Thelma  Bloxom
                2  cans  shrimp,  rinsed  well  and  drained      1  stalk  celery,  chopped  fine
                little  garlic  salt                              little  onion  juice
                2  tbsp.  Old  Bay                                1/2  tsp.  lemon  juice
                little  hot .sauce

                Mix  all  ingredients  except  shrimp  with  mayonnaise  until  desired  consistency;  add
                shrimp.  Cover  and  chill.     Delicious!
