James S. Pusey 85, a lifelong resident of Boothwyn, died on January 21, 2018 at his
home.
Born in Chester, he was the son of the late James A. and Lillian Trader Pusey.
Jim was an Operator at Sun Oil Refinery for over 38 years, retiring in 1989.
He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Ogden, where he served as a
Trustee for decades, was a longtime Financial Secretary, sang in the choir and was
also a soloist and taught Jr. High Sunday School; he also was a U.S. Army veteran.
Jim is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara Kates Pusey; his daughters Marsha
P. Hefton, Doreen E. Pusey and Christine L. Johnson (Carl); his sister Muriel Bradley;
grandchildren Adrienne Reed (Ken), Kyle Hefton , Brent Hefton (Crystal) and Austin
C. Johnson; also six great grandchildren.
Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of
Ogden, 2446 Mill Rd., Upper Chichester, PA 19061 where friends may call 9:45 to
10:45AM.
Burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
