When I used to run a veterinary practice, employing vets, I insisted on one mantra – whenever a conflict of interest crops up, the situation can be simplified by a set of priorities: patient first, client second, anything else third. That may be helpful to us in these difficult times.
Please continue to enjoy your work in a legitimate form of veterinary medicine, help your patients, serve your clients well, set an example to others and continue to derive
job satisfaction and reward

 The march in London to RCVS headquarters on 16th April was a great success. We had just under 200 people including Anna Webb the journalist, Andrew Prentis, Lise [Hansen]’s boss, David Tredinnick the MP and Jenny Seagrove the actress. Spirits were high as we gathered under the statue of Winston Churchill in Parliament Square Gardens. Banners were retrieved from Chris’s car roof and distributed among supporters. It was lovely to see so many of the Facebook supporters who had been helping the campaign, dressed in a variety of costumes including cows and tigers.

 Organising a public protest has given me a new insight into various things, the tolerance and good humour of the police for one, which was refreshing! Also the enthusiasm and commitment of many individuals gave me hope that the support for homeopathy amongst the general public is stronger than ever.
