So what does the Spring hold for us this year? After a disappointing response from the RCVS to our submission of a package of evidence for homeopathy, we must gather ourselves and carry on ‘afresh’ in our efforts not to let veterinary homeopathy be eroded further in the UK. We will consider our response to the RCVS and how we can explore other approaches.
We do however, have a lot to look forward to in the homeopathic community. We are in the process of organising a Spring Meeting in London on Friday 25th March 11am-4pm, venue to be confirmed. It will also be possible to join on Zoom. The day will be all about fungi, with talks from Martin Powell, herbalist, author and founder of Myco Nutri and Geoff Johnson with the use of homeopathic remedies from fungi. There’ll even be time for a couple of case studies as well. How exciting!
Meanwhile there is a five-day virtual homeopathic conference; Homeosummit, advertised as the world’s largest homeopathic event. There are talks by Jeremy Sherr, Luke Norland, Miranda Castro and Fredrick Schroyens among others, such an amazing line up. For more details see their website: https://www.homeosummit.com/
In addition the Homeopathic Research Institute is holding a one-day online conference on on 25th June. There are 12 excellent international speakers, it counts as 7 hours of CPD and BAHVS members also get a 10% discount. It’s incredibly good value for money. For more details and booking, visit their website and enter BAHVS10 as the code to get the discount. https://www.hri2022.org/
So lots to look forward to, to sustain us through the gloomy days of February until Spring comes and we can all stand at our windows and shout a collective ‘afresh’ at the world!
