a case study of antibiotic-resistant infection in horse. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing global health threat. The EU is pursuing a "one health" approach to this issue, taking into account veterinary, human health and environmental aspects. The work of Petra and her colleagues is an important contribution in this area.
IAVH has established good relations with the International Veterinary Students' Association (IVSA). IVSA's representatives, during recent years (when Congress could still be held), participated in IAVH conferences.
We hope, of course, that this tradition will continue when the congresses will be face to face again.
Students’ feedback indicates that they are interested in non-traditional medical methods that can provide new treatment options. They are interested in gaining knowledge about alternative options in veterinary medicine, because the experience of students shows that there are few opportunities to learn alternative treatment methods at the universities. It is important to continue developing links with IVSA so that students perceive homeopathy and other treatment methods as part of one common health approach. Our Colleagues Edward DeBeukelaer (BAHVS, IAVH), Patricia Cayado (IAVH), and Sara Fox Chapman (AVH, BAHVS, IAVH) are working on a project with IVSA.
In joint work with colleagues, they have created a resource for multi-disciplinary medicine (MM) for students. Colleagues use the term Multidisciplinary Medicine to highlight the importance and application of several medical disciplines in veterinary practice. Colleagues’ work has resulted in an article in the IVSA magazine. The article is intended to explain the differences between conventional and non-conventional medicine. Further steps will be taken to explain other MM methods
I invite you to visit our website (https://iavh.org/en/the- iavh); IAVH homepage new version is online. Renewed homepage has a better structure and is more organised thanbefore.
LMHI 75th World Congress of Homeopathy is postponed again. Congress organizers hope this will be the last postponement and we all will meet in September 2022 in Istanbul!
Meanwhile, IAVH board members will work to make online video learning and shorter topic related online conferences, which will be available to all IAVH members.
You already have the opportunity to take part in online case supervisions on zoom platform organized by Stefan Kohlrausch.
You are welcome to present all kinds of problems you have in relation to classical homeopathy, it can be of help in case analysis or repertorisation, remedy selection or case management. Please contact Stefan Kohlrausch if you are interested in participating.
