P. 11

Examination was impossible without applying narcotics,
but in the beginning, he could be
touched on the examination table. After auscultation
however he didn’t want to be touched
anymore and growled out loud.
Owner lived in Malaysia and took him home, where she
already had other three cats. Initially he had problems
with another cat, which is why she separated the cats and
made two groups. But now, returned for good to
Switzerland, there are still two groups as Charly would
attack the tom cat of the other group when he sees him.
Before the separation he would attack the other cat
“Sammy” if the owner called out “Sammy”.
Now if Charly sees Sammy through a window he cannot
be quieted and wants to attack. He is fixated on this “war”
with Sammy, often waits for a long time until he can see
him. As soon as he sees Sammy he also marks the walls
with urine. Now he marks with urine all the time, even if
he cannot see Sammy and he urinates at everything in
the flat, daily!
Charly is a cat which is easily excited and not easy to keep.
When excited he bites the owner, as in rage. The last time
the owner scolded him, he afterwards bit his fellow
female cat. But when the owner gets angry with him he
usually bites the owner in her legs. He can also lie next to
the owner on a couch, but he isn’t a cuddly cat. For a while
he was treated with psychopharmacological drugs, since
then he has been constipated. With phyto drugs and raw
fibre the constipation is tolerable and he can pass his
stool every second day.
If he cannot go outdoors, he also gets angry. In warm
weather he remains outdoors the entire night. He doesn’t
mind warm rain but isn’t keen on getting wet. During
daytime he sleeps and again wants to be outside during
the night. Sometimes he screams loudly, maybe he wants
some action the owner says, although he isn’t really an
active cat. Living together with the female cat is ok, even
if sometimes he chases her out of the garden, he doesn’t
attack her but runs after her.
When playing he is quickly exhausted. Physical
symptoms: allergic cough (feline asthma).
The owner summarizes he is quite a peaceful cat, but can
get angry and when angry he needs a long time to recover
and calm down again. Once
the owner forgot to
separate the two groups,
left the door open, and
Charly wildly attacked
Sammy
better. The owner thinks he never does it anymore. He is
also more kind to the owner, but still doesn’t tolerate
seeing the other tom cat.
08.06.22 No more coughing, no more spraying of urine,
no more constipation and nicer towards the owner.
10.7.25 No further remedy needed
Interpretation
Charly is better on all levels and might have gone through
a homoeopathic aggravation regarding the cough it
seems unlikely that the remedy doesn’t fit.
Androc. is number 21
(millennium edition) and
of course the second rubric
brought me to the
Idea when reading the
Materia Medica.
