machine – he will keep going. He puts a paw on you, he needs that contact.’’
Based on the family thing, the protecting even though being fearful, the endless energy, loving: Lac lupinum 200C, 2 doses.
Feedback
• 6 months later: he was much better less anxious, much more patient with food. He plays much with the new young dog we have now.
• 9 months later: weight loss and hungry. Weight loss even though receives much more food. Many tests and nothing was found. A repetition of the lac lupinum did not make any difference.
‘’He had started to steal food again. The new dog changed after her first season, it escalated from there. She told him off and he got the message and stayed back. When he is cornered by the other dog, he turns and faces the wall; he wants to get away from what is happening, he will leave the room. This happens when the other dog stares at him.
He looks away from other dogs as well.
Humans are important: he wants to be on our knees all the time. He used to play with the young bitch quite a lot till
she came in season.
Everywhere we go he will defecate in the house. The weight loss started after we reduced his food because he had become overweight. He is still completely nuts about the tennis ball; he becomes a completely different dog – like a crack habit.
When we open the door, he winds himself up, he will not listen anymore; if you put your foot in front of him, he will bite you; he will bite and chew the lead, he is shaking, it is like the food: don’t leave me behind. It is similar to the food: he will be shaking ‘I am going to get the food’. It is not a positive thing.
He follows me around everywhere. He will not sit still. We can hear him howl when we leave the house without him. He will come and sit between me and my partner. He is saying to my partner ‘he is mine’.
(He did the rounds of the consult room and the remains sitting by the owner)
He used to be good off the lead, now he will not listen to us anymore: you have to shout really hard before he responds. He still guards; he barks until he can see it is fine. In the last 6 months he needs to chew something when he
is in the car. It stops after 10 minutes. He would be unbearable as a big dog.’’
I make a repertorisation:
Out if this repertorisation I prefer saccharum album for its clinginess and issues with food.
Also, saccharum album is sugar which would fit in with the ‘drug addict’ description.
Two doses in 200c.
The change was fast: he put on weight quickly and his behaviour around food became normal in 2 weeks. After the remedy you could see the difference in him. He was content again. He stayed with house sitters. They said he was a delight.
He had a set back and I gave him another dose and he picked up again. He is playing again with both dogs. The tension between the dogs was certainly a trigger for all this. Last feedback is 6 months after the first px of sac alb and all is still well.
A simple way to remembering the remedy is the clingy slight hyper child always wanting attention and needing food.
