Simply notice the seabirds held in the breath of the wind,
in the certainty of that breath, how they write their stories on the sky
so they are passed on.
Simply notice the sheep lying with their faces to the sun, how their lambs
learn from their stillness, how cows will not hurt you
if you face your fear.
Simply notice the women creating; exchanging their legends,
exchanging wisdom, how they felt to each other in shared experiences,
how they can swim in silence without judgement, without pride.
Simply observe how we are women, how we are strong.
It happens to be a group of women but I feel the same about my homeopathic family, how we share experiences and how we are strong. At times we need to simply notice that and be grateful for it. I know I am.
