Homeopathic appointment
26/04/11: the first impression I had was his docility, his mildness for being a stallion race thoroughbred horse "does not have stallion race thoroughbred horse character”, is very docile and makes relations without a problem, without manifest dominance towards other horses" (sic), it is a calm animal, it can be let in with other horses and at no time does he show aggressive, dominant behaviour or express behavior typical of stallion race thoroughbred horse. Based on this single mental symptom, I had to be guided by a few general symptoms, such as right laterality (the process was always predominant in the right hemitorax) and fever greater than 40° C, a chronic intermittent condition.
The observable local symptoms were chronic pleuro- pneumonia, without response to antibiotics, with purulent, putrid, fetid, large volume secretion. The striking thing was that the horse did not manifest pain in general, even when touching the affected area, his mood and appetite only declined with fever. The phlebitis seen in the area of the head is typical of a jugular fibrosis during hospitalisation.
