• Sulphur is indicated in cases that present with:
• Venous congestion,
• Chronic abscesses with fetid pus
• Wounds that heal slowly, ooze and bleed.
• Inflammation of serous membranes, with an established pleural discharge. It can remove inflammatory exudates in the pleural cavity.
• The drainage is very pronounced and produces abscesses in organic parenchyma.
• Pneumonia, neglected pleurisy.
• Lung congestion.
• Chronic, intermittent fever, relapses in febrile
processes.
• Very prolonged convalescence, for when there are
relapses.

Prescription and dosage: (26/04/11)
Sulphur 30 CH, 7 drops/day/plussing.
Antibiotic therapy was discontinued.
25/07/11 Good mood, attentive, put on weight, continues to discharge from the wound (natural drainage) which communicates with bronchi (air enters and leaves the drainage hole during each respiratory cycle). Indication: Sulphur 300 CH, 7 drops/ day/ plussing.
23/08/11 Character of stallion begins to show, less docile, a lot of libido, recovery of ideal weight, good coat, no pain in the area of the wound that continues to discharge. Indication: Sulphur 400 CH, 7 drops/day/plussing.
25/09/11 The discharge smells bad again and the general picture of the patient has not changed. I decide to switch to a medication that finishes what Sulphur started. Prescription: Calcarea Sulfurica 30 CH, 7 drops every 12 hours, plussing.

In order to have a normal life as a stallion, it was suggested to remove the ring from the penis and to give him free access to pasture.
Follow up (23/5/11)
Services two mares by live cover; when let out he rolls and has an attentive look, without sadness! The discharge improves in appearance, thickens and the smell is less unpleasant. He is in contact with other horses without showing signs of aggressiveness. The treatment with oral metronidazole continues at the discretion of his veterinary surgeon, for 1 week.
25/06/11 Less fetid secretion and in a smaller amount, it only eliminates more in quantity when leaving the box.
Prescription: Sulphur 200 CH, 7 drops/day/plussing. 20
