Your poor editor has had to chase me for copy, as I have been laid a bit low with a chest infection and I have not been able to attend to paperwork as I should. However, things aren’t too bad and we plug on.
I took a look back at January 2018, when the rCVS Position Statement was fresh in our minds and one could be forgiven for thinking that we are no further forward, one year later. The RCVS is still adamant that the statement is not up for review, despite the fact that the Council relied upon seriously flawed and allegedly fraudulent ‘evidence’ in arriving at its decision.
Vice-President ilse Pedler and myself met with the new President, Ms Amanda Boag, on 21st November to make representations but we sadly met with intransigence, along with the oft-repeated remark from the RCVS President ‘I am a scientist’. When asked about the cutting-edge research into the ill-understood properties of water, which were aired very extensively at the symposium: ‘New
