New President, New Board Members 2019
I’m the current president of the Baltic Society for Veterinary Homeopathy (BaltVetHom) and national representative of Baltic States. We are a rather small association as we are only 16 members altogether, and the majority of the members of our association are from Latvia, two are form Lithuania and one member is from Estonia.

I opened my clinic in 1989 and
At this years AGM in Bogata, Columbia, we chose a new IAVH President and Officers to continue the job of the outgoing team.
Many thanks go to Edward de Beaukalaer for his past presidency as well as Sara, Petra and Patricia.

 degree from LUA in Veterinary
Medicine Science in 1999. I have more than 15 years of University teaching experiences in small animal internal medicine and ophthalmology; I also
worked as a small animal veterinarian at the FVM clinic.
I have been studying veterinary homeopathy for 3 years with the Homeopathic Physicians Teaching Group.(Baltic
Course in Veterinary homeopathy 2009-2012).
Currently I work in conventional small animal practice on the outskirts of Riga – Mārupe, where I use homeopathy alongside conventional medicine. I’m also a self-employed veterinarian and practice veterinary homeopathy in Riga. I strongly believe in raw feeding our dogs and cats and I
advise animal guardians on Pray/BARF module feeding.
As the new IAVH President, together with our new team – Minako, David, Mirjam, and Cinzia, I look forward to continuing the good work that IAVH past Presidents and Board members have accomplished. I believe the most important priorities for the IAVH are promotion and expansion of understanding of veterinary homeopathy and promotion of veterinary homeopathic teaching and continuing professional education.
These aren’t new ideas but achieving them isn’t always easy. It’s equally important to continue maintain ties with ECH and strengthen ties with WVA and to establish new contacts with South American veterinary homeopathy org- anizations through networking in Columbia. Research and political questions are also important tasks of IAVH mission.
started to practice homeopathy
in 2001. I joined the IAVH later and became more acquainted with the organization after on the MMHV project as a translator. After that, I became national representative of Japan and I have already served
a term as Vice-president from 2017 to 2019.
My objection as Vice-president is to help the IAVH be a
promotor of veterinary homeopathy amongst allopathic vets, especially when it comes to WVA (World Veterinary Association).
I also hope to encourage an e-learning approach to home- opathy to attract new international talent and a younger demographic of vets, who want to learn using a tablet or smartphone as they establish themselves in the field.
