   President’s Letter October 2021
In the Celtic calendar, November 1st marks the midpoint between the autumn equinox and winter solstice, and the festival of Samhain, the end or ‘death-day’ of the Celtic year. Traditionally, it is when farmers brought their cattle back from pasture to house or slaughter, to literally ‘take stock’ before winter.
