Deep eye ulcer healed using homeopathy by Henry Stevenson, Australia
Sadie was being treated for an eye ulcer from February 2020, initially using antibiotic ointments (Ocuflox), and antibiotics (Doxycycline), and some Metacam as an anti inflammatory and by April 2020 she presented at a local ophthalmologist who gave this report.
“On ophthalmic exam Sadie's L eye was unremarkable. The R eye was visual with signs of ocular pain and abnormal tearing ocular discharge. Neurophthalmology was unremarkable. It was not possible to assess the fundus due to the external eye pathology. The external eye had a slightly lateral par-axial black lesion (sequestrum) surrounded by an epithelial defect. There was corneal oedema, scar or corneal neovascularisation extending into the area. The adnexa showed conjunctival hyperaemia.”
He prescribed CLERAPLIQ eye drops and said surgery would be needed if there was no improvement.
After 2 weeks on this medication the eye was red and painful and now, she would not open it at all. At this point we began our treatment (mainphoto).
We began treatment in April 2020 using Euphrasia eye drops (1 drop of Euphrasia mother tincture put into a 50ml bottle of Eyestream eye wash) and 1 drop of this twice daily. Orally we started treatment using Silica 30c twice daily.
Analysis. Sadie is 2 years old Himalayan desexed female whose health problems seemed to begin in January 2020 with an ear infection in the right ear with black waxy discharge. This was treated with some antibiotic/steroid ear drops. Then the eye problem began in February 2020.
You can see the deep ulcer and sequestrum here on the right eye
