1 General Introduction

EN76 is a versatile pallet racking system

1.1 Safety instructions and obligations of the operator

The EN76 system ensures maximum safety. This safety can only be achieved in practice if the
necessary actions are implemented in the planning and implementation phase as well as during use.
The user of the racking system has the responsibility to plan these actions and to monitor their
implementation.

For simplification we will hereafter indicate the essential rules, regulations and tasks of an operator
of a racking system during planning, installation (if it is self-executed) and after commissioning.

○ Traffic routes

○ Aisles
○ Stability
○ Protections against and falling down of components, loading units and storage items
○ Rack protections
○ Rack installation
○ Marking and securing of danger zones

○ Electrical equipment of storage facilities
● Accident prevention regulations of national industrial professional associations

Guidelines and rules for installation may be different from country to country.
