     MEASURING
• Measure house
• Measure everything existing in yard (i.e. stuff to demo, trees, boulders, walls, etc.)
• Use the 2 point measuring system for everything existing, 3 if needed. (i.e. for a tree get
2 measurements each from a stationary point on the house; doors or corners of the house.)
• Measure from left to right (Drafting arm indicates measurements from left to right.)
• One measurement when possible (i.e., 16', 19' for window then 45' for end of the house.)
• Project planner. (Only house measurements on the back. Pool details on the inside. Fill out as much as possible on the project planner. The more you know the more efficient you will be.) Knowledge + Efficiency =More sales!
LAYOUT
• All existing
• Measure and indicate all set backs (i.e. house, property lines, A.C., walls, equipment, etc.)
DESIG N
• Design pool with home owner's desires and budget in mind. (Hopefully you have spoken with home owner and have explained that one may not equal the other. Design/budget.)
• Tips · Make black and white copies of your favorite and most simple pools. You may need them in the future when you are in a jam.
