OUTLINE
• Trace waterline and landscape with blue pen.
• Trace all hardscape with black pigment pen.
Tip - Unless mowstrips are a factor, freehand grass and planter areas for a more natural, easy to do, look.
COLORING
• Color by layer, this will cause less bleeding.
• For each layer, coloring in this order works best for ~ -
1. Pool
2. Concrete
3. Palms
4. Grass
5. Ground cover/planter areas 6. Shadowing
7. White highlights
• After everything is colored, trace house and property line with a Sharpie permanent marker. • Last thing is white-out on ground cover and water features.
TIPS TO REMEMBER
Tips - Don't worry about layers bleeding a little bit, in the end it won't matter.
• Use white-out sparingly (you don't want it to look like it's snowing).
• Keep the sun in mind when shading.
