My relatives •

are cOining! But our house is quite small,
So it will be quite a squeeze.
We're getting ready There'll be eight around the table:
For a really special day. Sixteen elbows, arms and knees!
My relatives are arriving There'll be queues for the bathroom
And this is where they'll stay. And queues in the hall.
There'll be coats, shoes and bags
My aunt and my uncle Piled up against the walls.
And my cousins Bill and Kate The house will be so noisy
Will be here for a week, As we all like to speak.
And I just can't wait. There'll be laughter and singing
For the whole of next week.
My cousin Bill's a toddler And when they all go home,
Who has just turned two. I know they'll stay in touch.
He likes to scream and shout, But the house will be so quiet
Just like normal toddlers do. And I'll miss them all so much!

But he's really fun and cute
And he's learning to be good,
And I'm going to help him
Do all the things he should.

Kate will sleep in my room
On some cushions on the floor,
Aunt and Uncle in the lounge,
On a camp bed by the door.
