Case study – Mrs Jones
An 88-year-old lady who has been living in aged care for 10 months. She has mild cognitive impairment, congestive cardiac failure, osteoarthritis in both knees and shoulders. She does not complain of pain at rest but experiences severe pain when rising. She receives a massage four times per week which she enjoys. She was a keen gardener before moving into aged care.
