Case study – Mrs Jones
• Pain is aggravated by movement and weight bearing
• She is fearful of pain, worsening/damaging her knees, no
longer being able to walk, falling
• She has started avoiding movement (standing) but has no trouble sitting for long periods or sleeping
• NSAIDs and adjuvant medications inappropriate
• Could give her a daily task of taking care of some pot plants
