HoMEMaDE PouND CaKE rECiPE

INGREDIENTS

3 c Sugar
3 c. All purpose flour
1/2 lb butter
6 eggs separated
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
1/4 tsp Soda
1 c Sour cream
1/2 tsp Salt added to egg whites

Sift flour and soda. Cream butter, sugar and 1/4 tsp. salt. Add vanilla and
egg yolks one at a time beating well after each Alternately add sour
cream and flour, beating well after each. Beat egg whites and 1/2 tsp.
salt until stiff. Fold into batter. Pour into greased tube pan (lightly flour

bottom only) Bake at 350 approximately 1 hour Cool in pan about 10
minutes Remove onto cooling rack ENJOY!
