Auction Rules

REGISTRATION AND CHECK OUT
1. You may voluntarily choose to have your credit card captured during the
registration process for this event which will enable you to make purchases
and check-out online at the end of the evening.
2. Cardholder name, address, email and phone number verification will be
required when your credit card is captured.
3. Credit card information will only be retained only if a purchase is made.
4. An invoice detailing items purchased such as 50/50 tickets and Buy Now
Items will be emailed to you at time of purchase. An invoice detailing your
winning auction purchase(s) will be emailed to you after payment and check
out is complete at the end of the event.

AUCTION ITEMS
1. All silent auction bidders must be registered on the event site SRDS24.
givesmart.com to participate in the auction.
2. The highest bidder acknowledged by the Give Smart platform shall be the
Winner/Purchaser and will be notified by text or email.
3. Payment is required prior to any item being shipped, delivered or picked
up.
4. The Saddle River Day School Parents Guild reserves the right to withdraw
any item from sale prior to the close of bids.
5. All certificates or services must be redeemed within one year of the event
unless otherwise specified by the donor.

RAFFLE ITEMS
1. Raffle items will be drawn in person and winners announced at the event.
An email and text message will also be sent as winners need not be present.

CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. The Auction Committee has endeavored to accurately catalogue and
describe the items being auctioned, descriptions of faculty experiences,
services and packages, etc. All items sold must be used within 1 year unless
otherwise indicated by expiration dates, or “specified by the donor.”
2. All Sales are final. Unless otherwise noted, all items and services are non-
refundable and non-exchangeable.
3. Payment in full by the successful bidder must be made in full by credit
card: Visa, MasterCard or American Express at the close of the auction.
4. Bookings for all day trips, dinners and like items must be mutually
arranged between the winner and the donor.
5. According to the IRS Code Section 170, only the amount paid for an auction
item in excess of the actual cash value on the prize is tax deductible.
