THE MIGHTY 4/374 FMSD IN THE CENTCOM AREA SUPPORTING
                                       OPERATION SPARTAN SHIELD

The 4/374th FMSD (Resolute Detachment) is currently deployed and provides a full range of
financial management capabilities in the CENTCOM area of responsibility in support of Operation
Spartan Shield. Resolute Soldiers conduct disbursing and paying agent operations, military pay
support, commercial vendor services, and courier and FMST missions. In July 2024, 4/374th FMSD
created its Get Your Money (GYM) finance briefing program for units across CENTCOM to bolster
Soldiers' financial readiness, ensure proper in-theater entitlements, and reduce potential for pay
errors. As of October 2024, 4/374th FMSD has conducted 22 GYM finance briefings for more than
700 Soldiers. Resolute Soldiers set the standard, and several have been recognized as Soldier of
the Week by the 34th DSB and coined by 398th FMSC(T) and 210th FIBN. Several senior leaders
have also visited 4/374th FMSD in theater, including 377th TSC MG Justin Swanson and CSM
Juddiah Mooso; 310th ESC BG Todd Erskine and CSM Gregory Chandler; ARCENT G8 SGM Helder
Depina; and 12th FIOC's SGM Dimas Fonseca.

The 374th T-FIBN is headquartered in Newark, Delaware, under the leadership of LTC Gabrielle
Templier and CSM Steven Thompson, and falls under the 55th Sustainment Brigade located at Fort
Belvoir, Virginia. 4/374th FMSD is based in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and its Soldiers hail
from Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico,
Texas, Utah, and Virginia. The 4/374th FMSD will be restructured as the 450th FICO upon
          redeployment in spring 2025.
