Welcome to yet another OUT OF THIS WORLD
yearbook and another year of non-stop
opportunities and events for our amazing
students! Too many to name but here are
just a few: Grade 9 welcome BBQ; Tamarack
Trip for our grade 9 students, PLF and
SHSM students; a memorable Commencement
ceremony; ample Athletics matches and Arts
performances; student recognition
assemblies; ESL Commencement ceremonies;
participation in and the winning of awards in
Skills competitions; academic contest
writing; and many student lead clubs and
councils that continue to add spirit and
culture to our amazing school! Our
mentor-mentee program also got off to a
great start and we’re really looking
forward to continuing this. The memories
created as you peruse this book will most
definitely last a lifetime!

Congratulations to all our wonderful
students who are graduating this year. We
wish you all the very best for the next
chapter in your lives. For Brookers
returning next year, we are looking
forward to another incredible year.
Challenge yourselves to earn that desired
mark in your courses, be a part of that club
or team you always wished to be a part of,
turn your post-secondary aspirations into
realities and be the best you can possibly be.

Huge kudos go out to Brook’s incredible
Yearbook team, and their staff advisor Ms.
Reynolds. Their collective efforts over the
course of the school year have gone above
and beyond - not to mention the countless
hours spent over the March break (yes...you
heard right!!) to put together a wonderful
compilation of lasting memories. Friesens
has shared with me that this is the best book
they have seen thus far!

As I write this, schools are closed due to
COVID19 and our Mayor just declared a
state of emergency. These are unprecedented
times! I hope that by the time our yearbook
is published and in student and staff hands,
that this pandemic is behind us and all our
community members are safe and healthy!
Continue to support, care for and love each
other - doing your part to make Brook, your
community and the world a better place!
