Australian Corporate Lawyers Association
The objective of the Australian Corporate Lawyers
Association (ACLA) is to be, and to be recognized as, the
primary professional association of in-house lawyers in
Australia, providing an efficient and effective range of benefits
and services which will advance members' professional development and standing and meet their individual needs.
Objectives: • To represent members before their constituent law bodies and other forums by providing a voice for
in-house lawyers • To assist by providing continuing legal education for the benefit of members • To maintain
legal knowledge through conferences, seminars and luncheons and through publication of The Australian
Corporate Lawyer • To support institutions providing specific courses of benefit to in-house lawyers • To promote
in-house lawyers within the business and legal communities and to the general public.2
Canadian Corporate Counsel Association

national forum and voice for the in-house counsel profession.
Established in 1988 as a conference of the Canadian Bar Association,
CCCA is now more than 10,100 members strong and growing rapidly. Our membership consists of corporate
counsel employed in virtually every industry in Canada, encompassing public and private businesses, non-profit
organizations, municipalities and crown corporations. We also welcome associate members from law firms whose
support and expertise enrich our educational programs and events.”3
