Some say networks and their members are at a crossroads.
While there was a rush to form networks in the early
1990s, the revolution lead to a long process of evolution as
network members grew to represent 20% of the legal
market annually billing $120 billion. As Mark Cohen, a
professor at Georgetown Law, commented law networks
evolved into unrecognized “quiet giants”.
