We convened executives from law firm networks and
accounting associations to help lead them to positions of
competitive advantage by discussing the trajectories,
challenges, and trends in the evolving legal market.

In today’s world the networks have access to vast resources
that can be deployed at little cost to achieve extraordinary
results. These resources need to be understood.
Ultimately if a network is going to achieve its objectives,
there is actually a small amount of risk versus the rewards
for their members and their clients. There is no ceiling on

While there was a rush to form networks in the early 1990s,
the revolution lead to a long process of evolution as network
members grew to represent 20% of the legal market
annually billing $120 billion. As a Georgetown Law Professor,
Mark Cohen, a professor commented law networks evolved
into unrecognized “quiet giants”.
