c. If the fuel system is pressurized, wrap the joint with a rag before opening the system, and then open it
carefully for pressure relief.
d. When checking the high pressure, it can only be read from the voltage of common rail pressure sensor.
Must use a special diagnosis instrument to check
e. Before checking the fuel supply system, first switch off the ignition switch and then disconnect the cable of
batter negative pole Open the fuel tank cover for a short while and retighten it
Caution
When taking off the negative pole cable of battery, the error code stored in the computer will be deleted
Therefore, before disconnecting the battery negative pole, check the diagnosis result (error code) first.
f. When dismounting the oil tank parts, park the vehicle on a horizontal surface and the content in the tank
shall not exceed 3/4 of total volume If necessary, exhaust the fuel tank
g. Before starting service, in order to exhaust the fuel gas, insert a discharge hose in the oil tank
h. Skin shall not be in contact with fuel! Wear anti-fuel gloves
i. Discharge the oil tank before dismounting it
2. Precautions for cleaning
a. Clean the joint thoroughly before disconnecting it and keep the surrounding clean
b. Do not dismount the parts from the installed positions to prevent foreign matters getting into
c. The dismounted parts shall be placed on a clean surface and covered. Do not use a rag with fine hair
d. If the service is not done immediately, the opened parts shall be covered or locked
e. Only clean parts can be installed Take out the spare parts from the package only before installation. Loose
laid parts (such as in the tool box) shall not be used
f. The auxiliary tools for assembling must be very clean. The same requirement for the container holding the
parts or auxiliary tools. Cover it when it is not in use to keep clean
g. The electric control common rail diesel injection system requires a higher fuel injection pressure, a fuel
injection hole smaller than that of traditional injection system and precise adjustment. In case of repairing the
common rail diesel injection system, be sure to keep it absolutely clean.
h. No water in any lubricant or glidant
3. Inquire the version identification of software and hardware of electric control system through the
diagnosis instrument
