Apply sealant onto the bonding surface between Loctite 5970
front cover and cylinder head & cylinder block
Apply sealant onto the bonding surface between Loctite 5970
crankshaft rear oil seal unit and cylinder block

TORQUE REQUIREMENTS

Earthing wire fixing bolt 9 ± 1.4

Valve chamber cover fixing bolt 8 N•m + 90°
Intake VVT fixing bolt (60 ± 6 N•m) + (45° ± 4.5° )

Exhaust VVT fixing bolt (60 ± 6 N•m) + (45° ± 4.5° )
Hook fixing bolt 25 ± 3.8

Oil guide bracket fixing bolt 9
First bearing carrier fixing bolt 11

First: 40 N•m

Cylinder head fixing bolt Second: 90°
Third: 90°

Main bearing cap fixing bolt (65 ± 9.8 N•m) + (90° + 13.5° )
Main bearing cap lateral fixing bolt (20 ± 3 N•m) + (90° + 13.5° )

Crankshaft signal panel fixing bolt (10 ± 1.5 N•m) + (90° ± 13.5° )
Shock-absorbing pulley unit fixing bolt (150 ± 22.5 N•m) + (90° ± 13.5° )

Connecting rod fixing bolt 30 ± 3

Crankshaft rear oil seal unit fixing bolt 9 ± 1.4
