Dear Violet,

This is a unique gift made especially for you to thank
you for saving my day!

I learned about this gift “Blessing” tradition while living
in the beautiful village of San Angel, Mexico.

The blessings are gifts for any special occasion, they
may vary in theme, color and size, but all will include
Mexico’s patron Saint, the Virgin of Guadalupe, and a
medal of Saint Benedict as it is a ceremonial Christian
symbol for the rejection of all evil.

Here is the prayer I choose to accompanied your gift,
it’s an old Apache blessing:

“May the sun bring you new energy by day, may the
moon softly restore you by night, may the rain wash
away your worries, may the breeze blow new strength

into your being, may you walk gently through the world
