Location

Waikaia Trails Trust is proposing to build a
mountain bike trail network in the Waikaia
Forest located immediately to the west of
the town of Waikaia. The forest is current-
ly an active forest block approximately 700
hectares in size, with approximately 110m
of elevation. There is currently no public ac-
cess to the site.

The trail network is situated
approximately 1.2km from the
centre of Waikaia. The town will
provide users with amenities and
connect users with businesses in
the town.
