ASSEMBLY
ast Friday afternoon, The Regent
Secondary School came alive with
Ljoy and appreciation during the
Teachers’ Day Celebration Assembly. The
event began with a standing ovation as
teachers entered the hall to the sound of
applause and cheers from their students.
Student leaders delivered touching
speeches, expressing gratitude for the
patience, dedication, and inspiration
their teachers provide every day. A
visiting alumna also shared heartfelt
words about how Regent teachers
shaped her journey beyond school,
reminding everyone of the lasting impact
educators have.
The afternoon’s highlight was the student
performances, where pupils humorously
impersonated their teachers, capturing
their signature phrases and classroom
habits. Laughter filled the hall as teachers
watched in amusement.
It was a heartwarming celebration —
a moment to pause, reflect, and say
thank you to those who make learning at
Regent truly special.
